A unique Physician Assistant job opportunity is now available to work with an excellent group of Physicians in a Long Term Acute Care Hospital setting in a vibrant and charming community located in the eastern foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Facility provides comprehensive care and rehabilitation for patients with multiple medical problems such as trauma, ventilator dependency, and complex wound management. Ideal candidate will have experience with critical patient care including exposure to maintaining and performing central lines, thoracentesis, or PICC lines. This close knit group is not opposed to training the right candidate. A pleasant personality and attitude is highly valued here because it takes everyone; Administration, Staff, Nurses, Mid-Level Providers, and Physicians to care for the critically ill patients. Schedule runs Monday through Friday with flexible daytime shifts, no weekday call, and making hospital rounds one out of every three weekends.
